A Song for You

Different traditions, different cultures and different races are the reasons of misunderstanding here and around the world. Yet, there is one language that can make everyone understand each other, music.

Through music, everyone can express their feelings. Everyone listens to the magic it brings.

This is how I met Kaoru Takato, a Japanese national, Toyo University student and a music lover. He is a very talented composer, vocalist and bassist of his own band. He is also responsible, has no vices and a really smart person, but most of all, he loves music. With these reasons, and some experience, he effectively sends his message to the listeners.

Language barrier is the main reason why we barely talk. Yet, I can still feel what he wants me to feel. I may not understand all the words in his music but I can still feel the emotions in every rhythm of the song.

It has been a long time since I met someone who can show real emotions through music. And feeling it to someone I barely know is really something I have considered. To top all that, He is Japanese.

Yes, I admit it. I fell in love. I fell in love with his songs and I am looking forward to hear from him.

Maybe for now, I am the only one who can feel it, but soon enough, people in the whole world will find out I have found out in his songs. I know they won’t just understand his songs. They will be enchanted by it. It will take time for them to discover him so I will wait. Until that day comes, I will be his fan, his only fan, for now.
